Project Description

Janzen Builders’ framing crew was hired to help rebuild and preserve the Historic 620 2nd St. Beveridge building. From the basement up, the crew framed over 400’ of frost walls, 160’ of bearing walls, suspended 80’ of clear span mezzanine, and fixed 300’ of roof parapet. Two stair wells were cut out and framed up from the basement to the third floor. Design/structural requirements were different back in 1911 and the crew enjoyed being part of the problem solving and making things right in this historic downtown building.
